Brand concept and website launch
Hello
I am so happy and excited to welcome you to my Journal. This is a place where I share my thoughts, musings, psychoeducation and information about my upcoming workshops.
I have been dreaming and planning my new branding and website launch for such a long time now. I have thoroughly enjoyed unleashing my creative side and working very closely with a fabulous team of creative women; Sarah from Sarah Clayton Photography, Nicole from January Made Design and Erica from Erica Cassidy. These incredible women have helped me create a beautiful and authentic online brand through images, design and words.
The deeper meaning
Nicole has done a beautiful job showcasing my brand in a light that is a true reflection of me. It was so important to me that people would see my brand and get a real feel for who I am a person. The deeper meaning behind my deceptively simple brand icon is very personal to me. The icon shows my initials in a gentle lowercase. This fills me with joy as I am known by those close to me as ‘lb’ and I loved the intimate sound and the look of a personal little signature icon. The beauty of the linked and flowing letters really represents the importance of how I see our mental health as part of the human experience and is intrinsically linked with our physical and spiritual health. My practice is a holistic, mindful approach to healing and growth.
The essence of my brand is to provide expert care, support and a holistic approach to psychological therapy that is grounded in evidence-based interventions. To me, therapy is about the connection and the relationship between me and who is sitting opposite me. I aim to help people feel seen, heard and validated in order to find strength in their vulnerability, resilience and the freedom to integrate, accept and honour all parts of themselves.
